Visual Arts Meets Hip Hop and R&B

Participating art students can demonstrate their artistry by crafting various works of art. Once created, these artworks will be for sale in your vendor booth! Art students can paint or sketch portraits, create poster prints, and design “vibes” paintings or mood boards about the popular art or culture from the featured decade.

Decade Rap Artist Portraits: Vendors will get to choose one of the featured artists of the decade to paint or draw a portrait of. One month is allocated to create this portrait, and then it is displayed at the event for sale.

Poster Prints: Participating vendors can create poster prints of featured artists for sale at each event. They can print multiple sizes and have one or two framed to showcase how they would appear after purchase.

Vibes Paintings on Popular Art: Art vendors can also opt to paint a featured decade “vibes” painting along with or instead of a featured artist – allowing an assortment for you to demonstrate your artistic abilities.

Mood Boards: All vendors are also welcome to create mood boards for display/purchase at the event following each theme. These can include fashion styles, colours, icons, movies and brands.

Live Painting

If performing live is your area of expertise, our live painting contest awaits. There will be a live painting contest amongst four artists at each event. The winner will be based on the amount of votes from the crowd. Paintings will be associated with the theme of the monthly event – however, they are up to your imagination. There will be one hour to complete the painting, with a 10-minute intermission. The crowd will vote by scanning a QR code and selecting their favourite art piece. The winner will receive a prize of either a $100 gift card to Michaels Craft Store, a $100 gift card to Curry’s Art Supply Store, or $100 on their Sheridan Student ID card!

Art Lessons

Demonstrate your skills and knowledge by participating in our art lessons! We invite last year Sheridan art students to teach event attendees basic art techniques, so they can learn how to apply them to a painting or drawing they will create.

Weekly Instagram Artist Spotlight

We want to put you in the spotlight! Each week, PSB Music will post on Instagram, highlighting the artist of the week, to promote our unique vendors for the upcoming monthly event. Our posts will tag each artist and consist of a photo of them, along with their artwork. Within the caption will be a summary that each artist creates on their own about their experience with art in life and at Sheridan!

Artistic Bowling Nights in Peel Region Mississauga

Artistic Bowling Nights in Peel Region Mississauga

Are you a student at Sheridan College looking for an escape from your overwhelming classes? Do you need an outlet that can help you balance your social life with your school life? Looking to make easy connections outside of campus? Look no further because Artistic Bowling Nights in Peel Region with PSB Bowling has you covered! Our goal is to recognize that Sheridan is aplenty with creative and active minds such as yours, empowering each of you to unleash your creativity will show why PSB Bowling is the perfect destination for you and your friends!

Who we are

The founders of PSB Bowling are Jimmy Cordero and Suzy LeBlanc. Their experience in the bowling industry has been crucial to the start-up of PSB. Jimmy has 7 years of experience as a bowling coach while Suzy has 5 years of experience as an office manager, both with Big Diamond Lanes. With their combined expertise, you will experience nights filled with high vibes and endless entertainment.

What we offer

PSB Bowling prides itself on having theme nights, which means every time you visit, the ambiance and activities aside from the bowling will be different. This ensures that you and your friends will want to keep returning to see what we have in store next! With each theme night, there will be discounts offered. Especially if you are a student of any Sheridan College campus. As of right now, PSB Bowling has one location open near the Davis campus in Brampton Ontario. So come on down and let your imagination roll through our lanes!

Theme Example

You may be wondering what exactly we mean when we say “theme nights”, as previously stated Sheridan College has many creative minds. We want to capitalize on that by incorporating ambiance centered around art. This includes Paint the Alley, Live Music and Karaoke, Comedy Shows, Photography, and Craft Night (19+). To explain further, we will take Paint the Alley as an example. There will be bowling, of course, however, it will be accompanied by colors, drawing, brushes, and anything else you can think of when it comes to painting! When you roll a ball down the alley and it (hopefully) hits the pins, they will explode with different colored powders. Displaying a similar scene as you might see during a color festival. As you and your friends are lighting up the alleys with your strikes, the entire place itself will be glowing with neon shades to compliment the atmosphere and essence of the night. However, Paint the Alley cannot live up to its name if visitors are not able to paint. This is why we will be providing all of you with t-shirts (short or long-sleeved) that you can paint on while you are waiting for your turn.

The best part about that is you will get to take your masterpiece home with you at the end of your night! All art supplies such as brushes and paint will be provided by us and will be ready upon request. However, you may bring your own supplies to the alley if you wish! The more the merrier.

Why you should choose PSB Bowling

If painting is a passion or an idea of a stress reliever for you, then PSB Bowling is the perfect place for you. We strive to appeal to all students who have a penchant for art, as well as physical activity. Our theme nights aim to bring a sense of connection and belonging. We at PSB Bowling do not only want to be known for bowling. But for our ability to relieve stress and bring a community together.
