PSB Café
PSB Café is a customization restaurant that brings a brand-new view on how students have many options with their salads in Sheridan College. We are a unique restaurant like no other in Sheridan college that lets students customize their salads and more to their liking.
Our two locations are located in:
- Hazel McCallion Mississauga
- Davis Brampton campus
Are mission is to create a welcoming environment for all students to come and enjoy their time while not being stressed out.
Locations
Our location in the Brampton and Mississauga campus will include a salad bar for easy customization. In the Davis campus we want to include a lounge for students to do their homework or to just enjoy the environment with friends. We noticed that many restaurants on campus:
- Don’t have a lounge of their own
- and students feel rushed to buy their food and go somewhere else
We want to encourage students to have a good experience and enjoy their time to purchase more food over time. In the Mississauga campus we are going to be located on the first floor, for easy access to all different types of people and make it easier for people with wheelchairs to enjoy their experience.
Events
In both of our locations we will be hosting various events such as:
- Trivia night
- Pictionary
- Card night
- Bingo
Bringing in a different customer base and to keep things fresh while having a fun experience at our restaurant. By these events we want students to feel relaxed from all of their school work. Because sometimes students just need a break and the place to do that is our restaurant. The Customizable Sheridan college restaurants on campus in Mississauga is missing a healthy option and more variety, they might have healthy options but there are only one or two options for that food what if people want to have a particular healthy meal and that’s what our restaurant delivers. HMC new building
In the Hazel McCallion campus in Sheridan college another building is being build that is expected to be finished in the summer time of 2021.
We are in the talks with the staff at Sheridan College to,
- To open up a second restaurant in the new C building
- When we open up our restaurant in the new C building we also want to build a lounge
For the students to enjoy the lounge and environment just as the Davis campus will have. Speaking back onto the events that we will have once the new building is completed. They will be split up between the Davis campus and the new location in the C building. Because having different events switches things up and lets students enjoy more of their school life on campus.
Students enjoying their experience
We believe that with a welcoming environment, customers will feel more welcome to the school since there are a lot of international students that are not use to our culture yet.
We want them to
- enjoy their time at our customizable salad restaurants
- and make it as easy for them to enjoy their experience by picking their healthy food how they want it
For every new student that visits our restaurants we offer promotions such as 15% using their OneCard
As time goes, we hope to open another restaurant in the Oakville Sheridan campus but for now we want to see how students enjoy their experience in our restaurant, the quality of our product that we offer and see what the future will hold for expanding our business. With our three restaurants opening up in the two Sheridan college campuses, Mississauga campus and the Davis campus we hope that the food on campus will have more options and variety for students to enjoy.
