Brewing methods

The Turbopress is a highly versatile device which supports various methods.

Standard Brewing – This is a traditional way of brewing with the Turbopress Go.
Inverted Method – The Turbopress is assembled upside down with the plunger at the bottom, allowing one for a long steeping before pressing.
Cold Brew – The Turbopress can also be used to make cold brew coffee by using cold water and a longer steeping time.

So how does it work?

Place a paper filter in the filter cap and screw it onto the bottom of the chamber. Position the chamber over a cup or mug. Add the coffee grounds to the chamber, then pour hot water over the grounds. Next is to stir the mixture with the provided stirrer, then let it steep for a short period which is typically anywhere from 10-60 seconds or even longer depending on one’s preference. Then insert the plunger into the chamber and press down gently. The air pressure forces the water through the coffee grounds and filter, extracting the coffee into the cup below. There you go, a rich coffee is produced.
